 Rolling Stones night.
Light of Doom lives to sing another day.  I was out of the room when they sang their song (curse me!), but, from what I got to hear, their singing was weak.
Tres Bien! is still in, but they’ve actually been getting better.
Denver and the MHO were awesome, as usual.
The Clark Brothers and Sixwire [...]

Kvetha Fricaya! (That’s pretentious-talk for “Greetings, friend!”)
I should probably say first that I’m not actually affiliated with the Anti-Shur’tagal. I’m not even a member of the live journal or the forums. I do, however, agree with every thing they’re saying, so I decided to do my own article on the Inheritance books. [...]

Happy Thanksgiving all! I finally got around to checking up on SZS on Youtube and I found episodes eight and nine.
Episode 8:
The first part of the episode is about Kagerou Usui, the prematurely balding highschooler, and how no one ever notices him. Meanwhile Zetsubou talks about being overshadowed, like how Marie Curie’s husband, [...]

And thus Lights mis-guided quest for justice continues.  I suppose Light did a “good” job disposing of Raye Penber.  His girlfriend seems to be on to him, though.  Anyway, his precise method was this: wait a few days after the bus incident.  Stand behind him and tell him that he’s Kira.  Prove it by killing [...]

Man, I’ve been insanely busy lately!  And now I have a cold and I’m out of Kleenex.  Anyway, yesterday, the theme of TNGAB was Lieber and Stoller songs.  Once again, I have absolutely no clue about their music, so I’ll keep this brief.
The first band up on this episode was (shockingly) Light of Doom.  I [...]

I couldn’t find any screen shots from episode four, so I’m not posting any pics this time.
Anyway, onto episode four. Light declines Ryuk’s offer to give him the eyes of a shinigami, saying that he’d like to live as long as possible if he wants to be like a god. He [...]

Clannad Episode 3 and 4

It’s been several days since I’ve watched Clannad (or any anime), so I’ll keep this short, as I can’t write much with such a foggy memory.
In these episodes, we’re introduced to a first year student named Fuko Ibuki.  She lives at school, spends all her time making wooden stars as gifts to get people [...]

I’m not going to say too much about this episode since I don’t really know much about Billy Joel. As far as I can tell, everyone did all right, whether or not I particularly like their style. Amazingly, Light of Doom made it. I really don’t know what to say. [...]

I picked up FE:GoD at Fry’s on Tuesday (the day it came out.) I’m on the fourth chapter right now. So far, it’s been a really great game, like all the other FE games. If you’re a fan of strategy games or RPGs and you haven’t played an FE game yet, [...]

L and Light each come a step closer. L realizes that Kira is a student because all his victims are killed weekday evenings and weekends. Light finds out that L knows this by hacking into his father’s computer(it is revealed that his father works for the NPA.) To trick the police, [...]

For this episode, each band had to play an Elton John/Bernie Taupin song along with an original song. I don’t know much about Elton John or Bernie Taupin, so I’ll just give a quick overview of original songs.
Sixwire: Song-“Gotta Get Away”                                                                                   [...]

Kanon 2006 Episodes 3 and 4

I recently saw some pictures from the original Kanon computer game. The drawings were, quite frankly, horrendous. I’ve seen screens for the Air and Clannad games and they didn’t look nearly as bad. I suppose it’s because Kanon was Key’s first game, but the KyoAni anime looks soooo muuuch better.
Anyway, in episode [...]
